Image Album
Image Album creates a PDF document from your selected JPEG images, arranged in a grid layout. It is a quick way to produce a printable photo album, contact sheet, or image catalog without needing any design software.
How It Works
- Select JPEG image files in Windows Explorer.
- Right-click and choose FilerFrog → Image Album.
- Configure your album layout and settings in the dialog.
- Preview the result directly in the dialog to verify the layout.
- Click OK to generate the PDF album.
Layout Options
- Rows and columns — Set how many images appear per page. For example, 3 rows by 4 columns gives 12 images per page.
- Borders — Add a border around each image for a cleaner, framed look.
- Margins — Control the spacing around the edges of each page.
Page Size
Choose from a range of standard page sizes to match your printing needs:
- A3 — Large format, great for posters and displays.
- A4 — Standard paper size, ideal for most printers.
- A5 — Compact booklet size.
- Letter — US standard paper size.
- Wallet — Small photo size for personal keepsakes.
You can also choose landscape orientation for wider layouts.
Preset Templates
FilerFrog includes preset templates with pre-configured row/column combinations and page sizes. These save you time when creating common album layouts — simply pick a template and your settings are filled in automatically.
You want to print a contact sheet of 100 product photos for a catalog review meeting. Select all the images, open Image Album, set the layout to 4 columns by 5 rows on A4 paper, and click OK. You get a neat PDF with 20 images per page, ready to print and share.
PNG Support
Image albums now support PNG images alongside JPEG. You can mix both formats in the same album.
Title Page
Check Add title page and enter your title text. FilerFrog adds a centered title page as the first page of your album.
Filename Captions
Check Show filename captions to display each image's filename as a caption below it in the album.
Page Numbers
Every page in the album now includes a page number at the bottom center (e.g., "1 / 5").
